Qudsi 6 : Muslim's Wall Street

I just watched “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps”. For me this movie is all about an ambitious, young proprietary trader named Jacob Moore who works for an Investments company. After the death of his mentor, Jacob began to create his own legacy and sought revenge for his late mentor. He asks Gekko for help. Gordon Gekko, once a merciless finance executive and one of the big titans in Wall Street,but then had to serve almost eight years for insider trading and securities fraud. He then finds himself on the outside looking in at a world he once commanded. Still a master manipulator, Gekko will stop at nothing to reclaim his rightful place at the top of Wall Street. In this movie you can see how people try to manipulate others just for money in the stock exchange market.

I have been thinking, what will be the best stock to buy? Because as far as I know, stock market are highly influenced by rumours and its a dangerous business. Maybe today we have 1 million, but in the next hour, there will be only a mere 1 thousand left in our bank account. The best and most reliable investment company in the Universe will be Allah.

And the best stock to buy will be tahajud prayer in the last third of night.

If traders all around the world trying so hard to reach the Wall Street, why can’t we as a muslim knock oneself out every night to reach ‘The Straight Street’ (Siratul Mustaqeem). The street where we can make extra ‘money’ and the best part; this is the only money can be buried with you after your death. We don’t have to manipulate anyone, don’t have to worry about rumours or anything in this world.
